Metallica are bringing their M72 show to New Zealand for one show only in November 2025

Metallica fans, “nothing else matters”: the band have announced they will bring their M72 world tour to New Zealand next year.

Fifteen years after last taking the stage in Aotearoa, the legendary rockers – comprising vocalist and guitarist James Hetfield, drummer Lars Ulrich, lead guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo – will play one show at Auckland’s Eden Park Stadium on November 19, 2025, with support from Evanescence and Suicidal Tendencies.
